Reduced fusion systems over 2 - groups of sectional rank at most 4
نویسنده
چکیده
We classify all reduced, indecomposable fusion systems over finite 2-groups of sectional rank at most 4. The resulting list is very similar to that by Gorenstein and Harada of all simple groups of sectional 2-rank at most 4. But our method of proof is very different from theirs, and is based on an analysis of the essential subgroups which can occur in the fusion systems. 2010 Mathematics Subject Classification. Effective Learning to Rank Persian Web Content
Persian language is one of the most widely used languages in the Web environment. Hence, the Persian Web includes invaluable information that is required to be retrieved effectively. Similar to other languages, ranking algorithms for the Persian Web content, deal with different challenges, such as applicability issues in real-world situations as well as the lack of user modeling. CF-Rank, as a ...
متن کاملSaturated Fusion Systems of Essential Rank
In this thesis we primarily consider saturated fusion systems which are of essential rank 1, i.e. which contain only one conjugacy class of essential subgroups. We prove that they all can be realized by an amalgam of two finite groups. This leads us to the application of amalgam related methods like pushing up techniques and results about FF-modules. As a first key result, in fusion systems of ...
متن کاملJu l 2 00 4 ALL p - LOCAL FINITE GROUPS OF RANK TWO FOR ODD PRIME
In this paper we give a classification of the rank two p-local finite groups for odd p. This study requires the analisis of the possible saturated fusion systems in terms of the outer automorphism group ant the proper F -radical subgroups. Also, for each case in the classification, either we give a finite group with the corresponding fusion system or we check that it corresponds to an exotic p-...
متن کاملA new multi-step ABS model to solve full row rank linear systems
ABS methods are direct iterative methods for solving linear systems of equations, where the i-th iteration satisfies the first i equations. Thus, a system of m equations is solved in at most m ABS iterates. In 2004 and 2007, two-step ABS methods were introduced in at most [((m+1))/2] steps to solve full row rank linear systems of equations. These methods consuming less space, are more compress ...
